CAREME: Autism Awareness Workshop for Parents and Teachers

On October 10, 2025, the Counseling and Testing Center (CTC) held this special workshop at Barangay 655 Daycare Center, Intramuros, through its outreach initiative CARE ME (CTC Action Response and Engagement through Mental Health Education), under the COSeL (Community Outreach and Service Learning) program LORNA (Life Opportunities for Renewal and National Advancements). 

Facilitated by ThankGod Amukele Mahel, a PhD in Psychology candidate at Adventist University of the Philippines, the session gathered 30 parents and 1 teacher from Barangay 655 Daycare Center.

 The workshop focused on early identification, referral procedures, inclusive practices, and collaboration between educators, parents, and specialists.

The event marked a meaningful step toward building a more inclusive and informed community.
